PRAYER PROGRAM FOR ALL THE CLERGY OF OUR DIOCESE! 

From the Office of our beloved Metropolitan Gregory, we are re-affirming the continuation of a Prayer Program that we initiated in 2021 for Parish usage.  The goal is to have our faithful everywhere in the Diocese praying daily for our Priests, Deacons and Seminarians, asking God to give them health and continued strength to minister to our people, while at the same time praying for more vocations to the Priesthood.  Please note: THIS IS NOT A SICK LIST.  With this Prayer Program, we are praying for ALL THE CLERGY of our Diocese. 

Please use this new list, effective October 15, until that time when we will issue the next revised list of names.  His Eminence is asking Father Zak to do two things: 

1) In the Proskomedia of every Liturgy, pray for the following 2 Priests, I Deacon, and all Seminarians: FR. JOHN LAZAREK, FR. ROBERT LUCAS AND DEACON CHARLES ELLIS.  Seminarians: Deacon Peter Sodini, Nicholas Worobey, Seamus Murray, Samuel Loposky, Timothy Paproski, Ignatios Leonardo and Nicholas Laliberte. 

2) Ask the parishioners of St. Nicholas parish, in their daily devotions to pray for these same Clergy by name, and an increase in vocations to the Priesthood, especially at this time when our Seminary is undergoing a building program.  Full details of this will be released soon.  Prayer is powerful!  Could it be that God is just waiting to hear from us?  He has blessed our Diocese over and over again since our canonical establishment in 1938.  Today is no different than those early years.  WE NEED PRIESTS!  There are Parishes who can support a Priest but are without a resident pastor and receive only part-time minisitration.  Ask God to grant us fruitful bounty as we plant the seeds for the future.
